Texas
VA Loan
A Texas VA loan can be used to refinance,
this is called a VA Streamline
refinance. A Texas VA loan can also be used to purchase homes.
No
out of pocket expense.
The Veterans
Administration (VA) has permitted streamline refinances on
insured mortgages since the early 1980's. Streamline refers
only to the amount of documentation and underwriting that needs
to be performed by the lender. The basic requirements of a streamline
refinance are:
- The mortgage to be
refinanced must already be FHA/VA
insured
- The mortgage to be refinanced should be current
.
- The refinance is to result in a lowering of the
borrower's monthly principal and interest payments.
- Under the HUD program known as VA Streamline
Refinance, when mortgage rates drop, you are entitled
to reduce your current interest rate at reduced costs.
- Thera are no
application fees through this
program. In some
cases, we can even pay your
closing costs. The application
does not require an income
check, appraisal or survey.
To take advantage of this program you must request
the rate reduction while rates are down. Act now, rates have
not been lower in over 40 years.
